All retreats require a $50 non-refundable non-transferable deposit to hold your coveted spot at our crops.  If you are unable to make it after you sign up, sell your spot to a lucky friend.

If you, for any reason, need to cancel or wish to transfer your payments for a SO scrappy Scrapbooking and Events retreat, you are responsible for contacting us. Cancellation fee is equal to your required deposit ($50-$75 depending on retreat). Your required deposit will be kept as the cancellation fee. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE.  The date we receive the cancellation is the actual cancellation date. You will receive a reply by email from SO scrappy confirming cancellation.  This will serve as your cancellation date.

If you do cancel or transfer to another retreat you forfeit any prizes or goody bags from the retreat you canceled.

If you paid in full, you may transfer the amount LESS your deposit to another retreat within that year only.  No REFUNDS will be issued whatsoever.  A 45 day notice is required. 

All balances must be paid within 45 days of your event.  You will receive an invoice for your balance approximately 8 weeks before the retreat and we appreciate timely payments. 

Our expenses continue during the event even if you are not able to attend.  We have to pay for your space even if you aren’t there.   SO scrappy will do our best to fill your spot with a person on our wait list.  If that is possible, you will be refunded the fee less the $50 deposit.  We ask that if you do sell your spot to a friend, please just email us at soscrappyevents@gmail.com to let us know who will be attending in your place. 


SO scrappy reserves the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances and is not responsible for any associated cost (such as travel) incurred by the registrants.  In case of cancellation by SO scrappy, full refunds will be issued promptly.  This does not apply to anyone who cannot make it due to their own unforeseen circumstances.  If inclement weather is happening in your area that prevents you from attending one of our scrapbook retreats associated with SO scrappy we cannot be held responsible.

If the location where one of SO scrappy is hosting the retreat has inclement weather and the hotel has to cancel we will certainly arrange for a different date for the retreat.  

NOTE: If the hotel does not close then the retreat is still scheduled and will continue. No refunds issued or credited unless the event is not on.


No animals allowed as the hotel has a strict no pet policy.   

No alcohol, drugs, smoking or vaping inside the convention center or event space.  Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, or intoxication will absolutely not be tolerated at our events.  SO scrappy reserves the right to ask anyone being disruptive, under the influence, or participating in the above to leave immediately without being refunded.  We take pride in providing a low key, relaxing, and enjoyable experience for everyone.      

No children under 13 as croppers.  We love that we can get away from the daily craziness of life and sometimes that’s our children.  We also cannot control crazy conversations that may happen and don’t want to put you on the explaining end of things! 

SO scrappy is not responsible for theft, damage or loss of any kind during our crops.  We pride ourselves on being the first in and last out of the crop room and desire to keep your property as safe as possible.  Please be sure to bring a sheet or tablecloth to cover your work space when you’re away.  Leaving valuables in the crop room is your choice and we do not take responsibility for missing items. 

SO scrappy is not responsible for any injury sustained at our crops.  Please, be careful, watch where you’re walking, and keep your nose out of your phone when you’re up and about.   Be aware of your supplies and make sure they’re kept within your crop space.  We also ask – no dancing on the tables – leave that for one of the bars in town!

Our return policy lasts for 30 days.  If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Retreat Deposits and Gift cards are not returnable or refundable.  

REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed.  A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within one week of approval.

Shipping is non-refundable.  

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. After 30 days we do not replace broken or partly used merchandise. If an item is broken, in its original unopened package, we will replace it after 30 days. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at soscrappyevents@gmail.com and send your item to: 105 Blankenship Court, Willard, MO 65781. Shipping is non-refundable. 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

Gifted Retreat payments.  Retreat Deposits are not refundable as they are used to hold your spot in the retreat. All other payments made will be transferred to a gift certificate minus the deposit amount.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 105 Blankenship Court, Willard, MO 65781.  You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.  

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


First, we only ask you to provide information that we need in order to deliver the products, services or information you have requested.

Secondly, we don’t share the information you give us with any person or organization external to SO scrappy. We do not sell your name and/or personal information to anyone.
