SO SCRAPPY EVENT POLICIES/RETREAT POLICIES

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

We do not offer refunds on crop seats; we do however allow you to transfer your paid fee amount less non-refundable deposit to a future SO scrappy event within one year of cancellation if cancelled 45 days prior to event.   Transfers are valid for one event only, if the second event is cancelled all credits/transfers will be void.

*    Payments: Balances are due 60 days prior to start of event.  Unpaid invoices will be cancelled, and seats will be forfeited the day following due date. Payment notices/balances/invoices will be emailed and are the responsibility of the person registering. 

Retreat credits can only be used for future SO scrappy retreats and must be used within 1 year.   After one year, credits/transfers will be voided.

You must register online to secure a seat or email soscrappyevents@gmail.com to be added to the waiting list for an event.   No seats are held for transfers/credits until an order is placed. Seats are subject to availability. 

Cancellations 45 days or less will not qualify for a refund, transfer or credit.  

Cancellations must be made via email to soscrappyevents@gmail.com.  NO other form of notification will be accepted. 

*     You may transfer your seat to another lucky attendee we just ask you email soscrappyevents@gmail.com as soon as transfer is made.   If needing to sell a seat, please email us so we may help you.

*      Our intent is to get your seat filled so that no one misses out on the fun!  SO scrappy Scrapbooking and events is not responsible for selling your seats.  You may share with friends once we are notified of the cancellation.  We may have a waiting list that we can pull from to help you sell your seat.  In the case that SO scrappy Scrapbooking & Events handles the payment of selling the seat a processing fee of 5% of the total will be withheld from sale of the seat.

 ·        All Retreats require a $50 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit or payment in full if signing up within 60 days to hold your coveted spot at our crops.  If you are unable to make it after you sign up, sell your spot to a lucky friend.

·        All balances must be paid within 45 days of your crop.  You will receive an invoice for your balance approximately 8 weeks before the crop and we appreciate timely payments.  

·        Our expenses continue during the crop even if you are not able to attend.  We have to pay for your space even if you aren’t there.   SO scrappy will do our best to fill your spot with a person on our wait list.  If that is possible, you will be refunded the fee less the $50 deposit.  We ask that if you do sell your spot to a friend, please just email us at soscrappyevents@gmail.com to let us know who will be attending in your place.  SO scrappy Scrapbooking & Events is not responsible for selling your seat.

·        No animals allowed in the crop room due to allergies and/or people with fear of pets, etc.  Please notify us in advance at soscrappyevents@gmail.com if you have a service animal so we can make arrangements. 

·        No children under 13 as croppers.  We love that we can get away from the daily craziness of life and sometimes that’s our children.  We also cannot control crazy conversations that may happen and don’t want to put you on the explaining end of things! 

·        SO scrappy is not responsible for theft, damage or loss of any kind during our crops.  We pride ourselves on being the first in and last out of the crop room and desire to keep your property as safe as possible.  Please be sure to bring a sheet or tablecloth to cover your work space when you’re away.  Leaving valuables in the crop room is your choice and we do not take responsibility for missing items. 

Classes and apparel purchases are non-refundable.  You may sell your class seats to another attendee however the transfer and sale is your responsibility. SO scrappy Scrapbooking & Events must be notified of transfer via email prior to class.  If class materials are able to be mailed, you will be responsible for shipping fees. 

Hotel cancellations are not the responsibility of SO scrappy Scrapbooking & Events and are subject to hotel fees for non-cancellation. 

SO scrappy Scrapbooking and Events reserves the right to cancel any event as deemed necessary due to weather, facility issues, etc. and will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by attendees such as airfare or other travel expenses.  Should an event be cancelled by SO scrappy Scrapbooking & Events, all registration fees minus the deposit paid will be transferred to a future event date.

No children under the age of 13 allowed at events with the exception of shopping.  

All attendees must have a paid reservation to attend event other than shopping with vendors. 

·        SO scrappy is not responsible for any injury sustained at our crops.  Please, be careful, watch where you’re walking, and keep your nose out of your phone when you’re up and about.   Be aware of your supplies and make sure they’re kept within your crop space.  We also ask – no dancing on the tables – leave that for one of the bars in town!
