Calligraphy For The Holidays with Karen Shirer - Part 2

This year you can use your pointed pen calligraphy skills to create cards, tags, and table décor
for the upcoming holidays. Karen will provide samples for your inspiration, and practice sheets for you to hone your lettering of themed words and phrases. You can then apply your new skills to projects that meet your individual needs.

Thursday, Nov. 5, 5:30 p.m. Themes: Winter, Christmas, New Year

Bring the following supplies:
Oblique or Straight pen/nib holder (dip pen)
Nikko G nib (or other pointed nib you’re familiar and comfortable with)
Small container of Sumi ink.
If you need the above materials, a small kit will be available for a nominal fee.

Prior experience with Modern Pointed Pen Calligraphy is needed. If you took Karen’s previous
class, you’ll be fine. If you didn’t, and wonder if this class is suitable for you, please call Karen
and we’ll talk about your experience. We want you to be successful and delighted, not
frustrated!
