Traveler's Journal Class with Karen Shirer - Saturday September 26th @ 10:30 am

Make a beautiful one-of-a-kind journal to hold your precious memories, photos and journaling.
The base is the pre-made Graphic 45 Travel Album with 3 inserts: one waterfall for your photos and ephemera, and two blank journals for your drawings and written entries.

You’ll cover and embellish your journal with the beautiful vintage papers and ephemera from
Stamperia’s Junk Journal Collections (located near the front of the SO Scrappy shop). Choose
your theme: travel, nature, animals, etc. There’s enough crafty goodness to cover all the
surfaces of your album, fill the pockets, and embellish as much as you want, with plenty left
over for future projects in each Junk Journal Collection.

Each album will be its own individual work of art, and you’ll share many ideas with other class
members. I know you’ll be delighted with your custom-made journal to hold all your memories and plans. Can’t wait to see what we all create!

Supplies Needed: Bring basic paper-crafting tools:
paper trimmer with sharp blade
scissors
strong adhesive (ex: tombow, nuvo or craft glitter glue,and/ or strong double-sided tape
bone folder
12” ruler
Additional helpful items:
emery board to smooth edges of die-cuts
tweezers for handling stickers
corner rounder if you have one
- If you wish to ink the edges of your album and pages, bring dark brown ink and a sponge tool
(you may also purchase your album in advance and do this at home before class; then you’ll have more time in class for the fun stuff!!).
